A talk by Sally Evans with readings followed by a question and answer session. There will also be the opportunity for members to read poems/short fiction for comment and helpful advice. The workshop, hosted by Aberdeen Writers' Circle, is open to both members and non-members, but as space is limited please come in good time.

Sally Evans

Sally Evans was born in London, but has lived in Scotland since 1979. She has written poetry "all her life", is an avid reader and keen gardener — her garden was in the Callander Open Gardens Day in 2007. She writes "mainly on the Scottish countryside, and Scottish identity". She is Editor of Poetry Scotland, the well-known magazine with five or six issues a year. Her poems have been published in numerous books and magazines.
