How to move your work forward

A workshop for playwrights new and experienced with Julie Ellen of Playwrights' Studio, Scotland

Saturday 17 May 2008

Heugh Hotel, Stonehaven [Venue 16]

Julie Ellen works with writers, she knows well the light and dark of the creative mind; she said, ‘make a list of your biggest obstacles to creative work’. We did: self doubt, too many commitments, the internal critic, the uncomfortable chair. We discussed and discovered an antidote for every complaint. When a new theatrical work is born, the writer needs to find an audience. The Playwrights' Studio Scotland, is there to help.
